SE London Housing Association Group (SELHAG) SELHAG is made up of representatives of those housing associations that either have an active development programme in the sub region or who manage over 500 homes in the sub region:
The group meets on a quarterly basis and is also attended by representatives of the 5 boroughs and the Homes and Communities Agency and by the SE London Housing Partnership Co-ordinator. For the July 2010 meeting: Health and housing presentation For the April 2010 meeting: The SE London Guide for RSLs and Developers was revised in 2009 and the current version adopted in April 2010. Some further amendments will be made to the introductory section once a new SELHP Strategy is published. The SE London protocol about adaptations has also been revised following review and consultation. For the January 2010 meeting ......and some further details about Black on Board Carbon Reduction and RSLs (NHF presentation) HEEP (Briefing) Summary of carbon reduction type programmes Hyde - 'retrofit and replicate' draft updated Guide to RSLs and Developers The October 2009 meeting included: L&Q's proposed new intermediate housing product Mortgage Rescue Syndication proposal Briefing note on retrofitting and carbon reduction Discussion paper on use of CBL for intermediate housing The revised wheelchair design guidelines were discussed. A briefing note from colleagues at LB Bromley summarises the changes. SELHAG Members are also being consulted as part of the review of the SELHP Protocol on adaptations. The consultation involves a questionnaire that should be returned by November 9th. SELHAG Members have been invited to a briefing on safeguarding adults at 2pm on November 10th. This is based on an outline programme. In May FamilyMosaic produced the final draft of a report reviewing RSL training and employment schemes in SE London. From the April 2009 meeting Housing associations have been invited to sign up to a Domestic Abuse Code of Good Practice. A presentation from Pauline Mason, SELHP Homelessness Co-ordinator, reviews recent work on homelessness.
